What is Overcast Living?
Overcast Living is a creative project that blends art, nature, and the laid-back spirit of the West Coast. Rooted in a love for minimal design and the rugged beauty of coastal life, Overcast Living is all about capturing a feeling, whether it’s the mist rolling in off the Pacific, the quiet of a forest trail, or the energy of an open road.
I believe art doesn’t always have to carry a deep message or promote something. Sometimes, it just exists to be visually striking and evoke a sense of place. My work leans into clean lines, organic shapes, and a moody, modern aesthetic inspired by the Pacific Northwest. While I draw influence from various design movements, my focus is always on creating something that feels fresh, effortless, and timeless.
Overcast Living started as a way for me to explore my own artistic vision without constraints. Over time, it has evolved into a growing collection of prints, wall art, and goods designed for those who appreciate a connection to nature and a touch of understated design. The project is constantly evolving, but at its core, it remains a reflection of my personal style and creative process.
About the Artist
I’m a designer and artist based on Vancouver Island, with a background in graphic design, branding, and web design. I’ve always had an appreciation for simple, thoughtful design and how it shapes the spaces we live in. Overcast Living is my way of merging those interests with my love for the outdoors and the coastal lifestyle.
My work is available as fine art prints and framed pieces, and I’m always exploring new ways to bring these designs into everyday spaces. Whether through collaborations or expanding into new mediums, the goal remains the same: to create art that feels intentional, timeless, and true to the rhythm of the West Coast.
